Denim Revive is Rowan’s latest new yarn for spring / summer 2019. It is a blend of recycled denim and cotton… the patterns are lovely and are available in a book format or individually on Ravelry and the Rowan website.
Rowan’s new premium blend of the finest British wool and British Alpaca.
Moordale is made using fine micron wool of the Bluefaced Leicester, known for being both soft and strong. Blended with Alpaca adding a lustrous, silky touch culminating in a natural look, robust, tender yarn which drapes well and feels comfortable to the skin. Available in a versatile colour palette of 12 shades, from naturals through brights.
Fourteen designs by Martin Storey are now available to buy on Ravelry!
Camello is the most recent “Select” yarn from Rowan, which means that it will only be available for this year’s Fall / Winter season. It is composed of 68% Merino, 18% Camel and 14% Nylon, knits to a gauge of 28 stitches per 10cm and contains 175 meters per ball. As a bonus the patterns are free with purchase of the yarn.
My order of “Belle” by ArtFil has finally arrived. We have over 20 colours and 1 colour exclusive to Wool N’Things. It is great for socks because it contains nylon, but this merino/nylon fingering yarn can be used to knit anything you wish!
ArtFil is based in Laval, Quebec. They use an Eco-friendly method of dyeing yarn by using 80% less water and 60% less energy than the traditional dyeing method.
