Blue Sky Fibers calls is the “Albany Alpaca Cowl”, but as Canadians, we like to refer to it as the “Hudson Bay Cowl”. It is knitted with the really soft Baby Alpaca by Blue Sky… we have all the colours in stock!
My order of “Belle” by ArtFil has finally arrived. We have over 20 colours and 1 colour exclusive to Wool N’Things. It is great for socks because it contains nylon, but this merino/nylon fingering yarn can be used to knit anything you wish!
ArtFil is based in Laval, Quebec. They use an Eco-friendly method of dyeing yarn by using 80% less water and 60% less energy than the traditional dyeing method.
‘Itty- Bitty’ is another yarn from Sugar Bush, made in Italy, as well:
– Fingering weight with a gauge of 27-32 sts per 10cm on a range of needle sizes, 2.25 – 3.25mm.
– Composed of 65% fine superwash merino, 10% cashmere and 25% nylon, so ideal for sock knitting, as well as, scarfs, sweaters, etc…
