Rowan Select Yarns, Cashmere & Fine Silk, Have Arrived!

We are so excited to announce that Rowan's Limited Release Select yarns, Fine Silk and Cashmere, have arrived at Wool N'Things! Introduced to you in our May 14th, 2016 post, these yarns are part of Rowan's new concept for their yarns.

Luxuriously soft and wonderful to work with, both yarns will offer you a beautiful array of colours to choose from. Pick up your Rowan Limited Release Select yarns and patterns now!

Rowan Cashmere

Made in Italy this is a soft cashmere yarn made of 95% cashmere and 5% wool, ideal for babies and womens garments. It is recommended that you wash your finished garment before wearing to maximize the softness.

25 gram balls

Gauge: 20 sts/28 rows to 10 cm/4 in
Knit on 4 1/2 mm needles

Rowan Fine Silk

A fine yarn made in Italy with a silky sheen, it is soft to your touch because of merino and viscose fibers.

40% silk 30% wool 30% viscose
25 gram balls
Approximately 150 m (164/yds)
Gauge: 35 sts/45 rows to 10 cm/4 in
Knit on 2 1/4 mm ndls

KENZIE by Hikoo is a New Zealand yarn with 50% merino, 25% nylon, 10% angora and 5% silk noils. Considered a tweed, the merino, angora & alpaca gives this yarn softness and body, the nylon provides strength and the silk noils give it a delicate texture and color accents.

Available in 30 vibrant and popular colors, this smooth 3 ply yarn comes in 50 gram balls (160 yds) and knits up on 4-5 mm needles with a gauge of 20 sts per 10 cm/4 inches.  $11.50 per ball
